Weddings - Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are set out here in conjunction with our wedding services. These conditions do not supersede or override any of the conditions laid out in our privacy policy or our the terms of use of this web site.

Balance due on the day of the event, before we start shooting.
To guarantee your date, a minimum $400.00 deposit is required.
In the event of postponement, or cancellation, please contact the Studio as soon as possible, as your deposit may be forfeited.
It is understood this Studio is the exclusive videographer retained to perform the video services requested for this contract.
No part of any order will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.
Foreign copies (PAL) are also available. Prices will be calculated by the Studio, with regard to quantity and length.
The Studio reserves the right to use the footage for purposes of display, exhibitions, contests, publications, and other purposes.
The Studio takes the utmost care in respect to the development and delivery of the video products and services ordered.
During the event, many spontaneous and unforeseen things may occur, such as someone stepping in front of the camera, lights too bright, not enough light, etc. We cannot control these situations, as this event is not staged on a controlled set.
We would ask that you notify us in advance of any unusual or staged situations. We cannot guarantee satisfaction.
Our experienced camera operator(s) will do their best to make this a memorable day for everyone involved. However, due to any occurrence beyond the control of the Studio, the client will be responsible for the total fee of the contract.
Additional charges: Extra time quoted on contract, $95.00 per hour or any part thereof. This includes DVD authoring.
At Copy Cat Digital, we do many weddings every year, to help us keep track of your wedding, you must provide us with any related items such as pictures, music, etc., at least one week prior to your wedding date.
The finished product should be available for pick up 5-6 weeks after your wedding.
We are not responsible for any items left with us forty five (45) days following your wedding.
We carefully edit your wedding to the best of our ability. However, any special edits (video or audio) requested by the client will be done, at our edit suite rate of $85.00 per hour, or any part thereof.
Any corrections requested 14 days after receipt of the final video will be charged at $85.00 per hour, or any part thereof.
We DO NOT edit additional footage not shot by us to our wedding videos.
You must contact the studio within 30 days after the wedding to finalize instructions, as we cannot guarantee the quality of the raw footage after this time has elapsed.
