Legal Services - Audio
We offer several audio services for the members of the legal profession.
Firstly, we duplicate cassette tapes (both standard and micro) in any quantity so required.
Secondly, we can convert your audio cassette to an audio CD, or we convert it to an MP3, for use with a transcriber's dictaphone machine. We can also Record just the audio portion from your video tape or DVD and give you the final track on cassette, or on CD.
There are several different methods of transcription. The traditional approach is audio cassette and a transcription machine. A more recent approach is digital recording on an MP3 recorder to produce MP3 audio files and and the use of transcribing software.
Transcriber is a free software package for computer based transcription of an audio recordings. The software allows you to synchronize the transcript with the audio recording. By manually segmenting and labeling speech turns and topic changes. This helps with accuracy checking of a transcript and allows you to search for a section by topic.
