Introduction:

These instructions will show you how to install the necessary Java software on your PC. If you are reading this because you already tried to upload files, and you did not see the Java Applet start, then after you follow these instructions to install Java, you will have to reload the file uploads page by pressing F5 or CTRL R.

MAC:

Mac OS X is the only major consumer operating system that comes complete with a fully configured and ready-to-use Java runtime and development environment. So, you should be able to use the applet without reading these instructions further.

Windows XP:

When you click the download link on the page beneath this one, a new window opens that takes you directly to the download page for Java. Click the download button. You should then see the following message (although the version number may be different). Go ahead and click the bar to install.

You will then see the following security warning

Click the install button to continue.

Accept the terms of the license agreement.

The installation should begin.

When completed, click finish.

When you have reloaded the file uploads page (if necessary) and you have submitted the form, you will be directed to a new page. This is the page where the uploading actually takes place. If you have never used the service before, you will see the following screen:

Click yes to accept the certificate. The Applet should load. If not, you may see an error message appear in the box. Follow the instructions shown in the message.

You are now ready to upload your folder to us. Close these instructions.
