Records to CD
The Compact Disc (CD) media has been with us for more than 20 years now and has continuously improved. With the birth of CD, vinyl records began the process of slowly disappearing. Most people if you are like us just couldn't let go of all of that history, so your record albums are in storage slowly deteriorating.
As with all technological advancement, over time things seem to come full circle. Today we have the ability to produce a good copy of an album using the latest in recording techniques and then transfer it to CD. Why wait for your favorite album to be released on CD, when you can just have a CD created now from the original you already have.
We can transfer all types of records, including LP - 33 1/3, 45's and 78's.
Our Process - Your LP is properly cleaned. We then use only high-end professional audio equipment and software to clean up any clicks and pops (we cannot, unfortunately, guarantee 100% success). We use high quality CDs and perform a multiple step conversion of your record to produce the best quality that can be obtained from the original record.
We can transfer your record to CD in two different ways:
The most economical way is to capture "Side A" and "Side B" into two files that we burn on to a CD as two separate tracks. This costs $39.95 each. Of course, CD's were designed so you can select the track you want to hear. We can make your CD with each song as a separate track for $49.95 each. Each CD is custom printed with the original artwork from the album, when available.
