Data Recovery
Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted, or inaccessible secondary storage media when it cannot be accessed normally. Often the data are being salvaged from storage media formats such as hard disk drives, CD's, DVD's, memory cards, etc. Recovery may be required due to physical damage to the storage device or logical damage to the file system that prevents it from being mounted by the host operating system.
The most common recovery project we see here are Mini-DVD's from camcorders that have not been finalized properly, or have an error during finalization, and photo memory cards that have been accidentally erased or are corrupted.
We employ several different software programs to retrieve your data, depending on which type of data we are recovering, and which original media the data was stored upon. We also can attempt mechanical repairs as well.
Our pricing structure depends upon the complexity (or simplicity) of the recovery involved, so we price each recovery on an individual basis. Our minimum charge is $100.00. Contact us for more information.
