PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL CREATE UNNECESSARY DELAYS, AND HIGHER COSTS FOR YOU OR YOUR CLIENT!
All our templates are in Adobe Photoshop .psd format. (See the Photoshop Layers Palette below). Using templates disigned in this manner allows us greater flexibility when we have to adjust your artwork, as well as a better quality final print. You can add text, clip art, photos or any other elements you wish. Be sure that you keep the resolution of all layers to 300 dpi, and keep all the textual/graphical elements (except the "Bleed" color/texture/gradient at least 1/8 inch from the edges of the final cut guides for sleeves, or for discs, 1/8 inch from the outside diameter edge, and 1/8 inch from the inside hub hole edge. For face labels and sleeves, you can supply your artwork with a "Bleed", so that when we print them, the artwork extends right to the edge of the stock. Save your finished artwork with all the layers intact. Do not "flatten" or "Merge Down" the layers. That way, we will be able to adjust where necessary. Also, if you used special fonts, please
email a copy of the fonts to us. This will ensure compatibility. For the sleeve inserts, and the VHS Face Label, be sure that the final template is in CMYK mode. For the disc template, please ensure that it is in CMYK format. After you have made your final template, and if it is too large to email, burn it to a CD and drop it off to us, or mail it to us, or use our
File Uploads service.
Our CD and DVD template is at a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), CMYK and has been sized at 120 mm x 120 mm. DO NOT change these attributes!

Again, we stress the following:
DO NOT FLATTEN OR MERGE DOWN THE LAYERS. DO NOT SEND US A PDF FILE OF THE TEMPLATE. JUST SEND THE .PSD FILE IN CMYK COLOR MODE (SEE CMYK CHART HERE) USING ONE OF THE METHODS LISTED ABOVE. FILES THAT ARRIVE IN THE INCORRECT FORMAT WILL BE REJECTED, AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR CORRECTIONS/ADDITIONS
WILL BE INCURRED BY YOU OR YOUR CLIENT!
